Mildred Marshall Maiorino author of more than 100 books, with four previously published volumes: An Affair of the Heart, Ginger Speaks, Patsy, and a book of poetry, A Tale of Leaves. She was a protégée of Louis Untermeyer, and studied with him for 24 years.
