This book offers a systematical, concise approach to a joint pediatric radiological sign of various diseases in the major body system. Each chapter starts with those signs concerned with the newborn period, continues through infancy and childhood to adolescence. It encompasses the congenital anomalies, inflammatory diseases, vascular disorders, tumors and metabolic diseases. The disease entities are arranged in an alphabetical order.
The book is intended for the physician in Pediatric-Imaging or in General-Imaging, as well as for those in Pediatrics and its subspecialties. About the Author
Michael Grunebaum, M.D. trained Pediatric Radiology at the Boston Children?s Hospital. He was the head of the Pediatric Radiology Department at the Beilinson-Medical Center and later-on the Radiologist-in-Chief at the Schneider Children?s Medical Center of Israel, both at the Rabin Campus in Petach-Tiqva, Israel. He is consultant Pediatric Radiologist to the Laniado Hospital in Natanya, Israel.
Dr. Grunebaum is the author of more than 140 peer-reviewed papers and of 2 books in pediatric imaging. He is an Honorary Member of the European Society of Pediatric Radiology.
