About the Book

It will allow you an inner reflection of a smile, a sigh, or a thought that you may have misplaced. The writers ability to perceive and project our deepest feelings those we hide and those we wish to share is evident through out this book.

Mel Cintrons writing opens you up to a new world of emotions and consciousness and your own involvement and ownership. Have you ever had something to say, but I couldn't find the right words?

Was there ever a time when words just didn't do justice to your thoughts or feelings because they were stronger than words? Have you ever wanted to express yourself in a way that transcends all that has been said before? Then The Thoughts of a Heart is a reflection of yourself, what you thought no one could express or feel of you. Within these pages you will find that which you wish to share with yourself and that which you wish to share with others.

The authors writings have been used to mend, heal, strengthen, and star relationships and sharings of our innermost value with ourselves and with others.

What you think and wish to say to yourself and others Is said with words from the soul, in The Thoughts of a Heart.

About the Author

Melvin Cintron was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in Miami, Florida. He is the youngest of five brothers along with two younger sisters. He is married and the father to three children; one daughter and two sons. He currently resides in *Northern Virginia with his family. *(At the time of this publishing he has been recalled from the IRR (Individual Ready Reserves), and activated as an Aviation Maintenance Officer in the US Army for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He previously served in Desert Storm as a combat flight medic).

His first book In The Depth Of A Thought (published in Spanish as En lo profound de un pensar) was highly acclaimed in united Press International book review as ?suave, songful prose and beautiful poetry? it further stated that ?Melvin Cintron is a poet from head to toe, (he) writes verse in prose or prose in verse.?

In this collection the author reaches out to touch and capture the varied spectrum of human emotions and situations. At times the poet?s intent, as well as the poem?s meaning, is crystal clear others times it is ambiguous, it challenges and calls for our own search and ownership of the poems meaning. It is poetry that seems to empower a release of the emotions of our hearts. The Thoughts of A Heart allows the reader to immerse themselves and interpret each poem as their own, not as a limited interpretation of the author?s thoughts. As such the power and depth of emotions encountered in this collection is not in what it means to the author but what it comes to mean and evoke for each reader.
