About the Author

Meet J. McMurtry. I attended NY public schools. Been to church most of my life. Received a Bachelor?s degree in English from the City College of New York. I have been writing poetry from an early school age. I was a Sunday School teacher. Former member of NY Coalition of 100 Black Women and Girl Scout Leaders of America. Currently, attending Alliance Theological Seminary, working on my Masters.
