About the Book

The story of life can be greater than the sum of its parts. And so it is with the short life stories of Leslie Herman as he tells it in By the Way.

About the Author

Leslie was born in London in 1910 and moved when he was 16 to South Africa where he was a Clothing Manufacturer. He was married to Clare for over 50 years and has 5 children Paul, Janet and Susan (twins) and Derek & Edwin (another set of twins).

He emigrated to La Jolla, California in 1982 where he currently lives.

He has 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren & counting, spread around New York, Connecticut, Canada and California, who he feels will be a big part of his readership.

This is his second published book, his earlier book entitled Incidentally?Experiences of a Lifetime was published in March 2000 and was a great success.
