Some houses are haunted by ghosts. Some are haunted by memories. Some are haunted by things created only by our imagination. The house of Gwendolyn Gardner is haunted by all these things and more.

Gwendolyn Gardner disappeared twenty years ago and yet her books about the magical world of Turnre continue to be bestsellers, reaching new generations of children. The Stone Garden details the stories of nine children who, for various reasons, find themselves inside the house of Gwendolyn Gardner. There they discover creatures and people from Gwendolyn's books and their contact with these creatures changes their lives forever.

By encountering dragons, ghosts and other worlds, these children learn valuable lessons of forgiveness and second chances.

About the Author

Kendra Lacy remembers what it was like to get lost in fantasy novels as a child. She wrote The Stone Garden to allow other children the same opportunity. She is currently a teacher in Florida.
