About the Book

A world where everyone treats each other with respect and tolerance. Just a dream or reality? Tobias finds a world where people can love whom they will, he's healthy again, and to his shock and dismay, he's even the Prince over the whole Realm. It's all the stuff of dreams until a young man bursts into the throne room pleading for Tobias's help. There's a mysterious new illness that took his partner suddenly, and an apocalyptic fiend frightening the villagers into madness.

Reawakening back in his own house he struggles to understand what his subconscious was trying to tell him. He dreams again but this time the story strangely picks up right where he left it. The mysterious Prophet and the pious Archbishop have a desperate plan to save the Realm with the help of the Council, if only Tobias would remember who he is and to which world he belongs.

Tobias struggles with his impending death, saying goodbye, but finding love in unexpected places, as the lines between fantasy and reality blur.

About the Author

Joseph Foxhood was born in Chicago in 1961. After living in that metro area for most of his life, he moved to one of his favorite warmer places, New Orleans, in 1999. His favorite books have been by Tolkien, Dickens, Anne Rice, and lately, J.K. Rowling. He has been church musician since the age of 9, mostly in the Episcopal Church. He is proud to work as a database manager for the HIV/AIDS Program in Louisiana. Joe shares a house with his partner, a German Shepherd, two cats, and a parrot. His hobbies are architecture, church history, reading and of course writing. This is his first book.
