About the Book

Jeffrey is a 10 year old boy who just graduated from fifth grade. On the last day of school before summer vacation at Henderson Elementary, he begins the adventure of a life time.

Jeffrey's Journey starts when he takes a letter out of the mailbox that doesn't belong to him. Inside is a baffling note that leaves him with a mystery to solve.

Hoping to find clues, Jeffrey takes a canoe out on the lake in the middle of the night to investigate a strange and eerie lighthouse. Desperately wanting to solve the mystery, Jeffrey spends the night on Hidden Island where he searches for a ghost named George.

About the Author

Jeffrey Bradshaw lives in the Smith Mountain Lake area of Huddleston, Virginia with his wife Carolyn and three sons, Gregory, Jeffrey, and Johnny. He teaches reading to fifth graders at Burnt Chimney Elementary School in Franklin County. Jeffrey is also the author of Whistles Through the Rocks, a book that traces the history of the railroad system in Franklin County.
