Aaliyah Jones is a sixteen-year-old girl growing up on the rougher side of town who has known nothing but drama her whole life. But when things begin to get out of hand and life throws her one blow after another Aaliyah must learn to depend on family. And through her struggles to stay afloat she learns a valuable lesson about life, friendship and the importance of family.

About the Author

Jaysree Roberts resides in New York City where she attends a public high school. She is seventeen-years-old and plans to go on to college to major in psychology. She has been writing since the age of ten and will continue to write books that entertain and inform young adults worldwide.
