About the Book

These poems come from a clear personal awareness of the darkness in us all. The poetry arises from his close connection with the shadows that we all have, but few admit to. Uncovering the spirits and goblins in all of our closets we find it possible to touch the darkness with our awakening hands and to take it back with us into the realms of our own existence and drag it back kicking and screaming to our habitational realm. Robert proclaims himself a real Bard of wonder in a marvelous world of imagination.

About the Author

Grew up in Camden New Jersey very close to Walt Whiman's house. I played in a band for ten years and have been writing poetry and stories since childhood. My poetry comes from within. Sometimes it surprises me, and other times I know where its coming from. I will be writing until I am unable to. I find early morning to be the best time to catch the muse. Between three and five am. I have over ten books in all and I am working on a novel as I write this. My favorite place is the upper mountains of the Catskills. Near the original Woodstock site. I live in North Carolina with my wife Christine and my two children Seth and Dylan. I have two other children that I have not raised named Desirree and Bobby. Some day I hope to know them better then I do as of now. There is always hope.
