About the Book
"Full of twists and turns that keep the reader eagerly anticipating the next page, an unusual turn of events catapults a young woman one hundred years into the past-into a world of slavery, civil war, and a dangerous, yet irresistible romance. Can her presence there actually affect the outcome of certain events? More importantly, should she even try?" -Linda Cole, Adjunct Faculty, Communication Studies at Marshall University
All she wanted was a cure for Lorena's illness. God had His own plan. He reached down and placed her 100 years in the past. Danger all around-Underground Railroad, hidden messages, espionage, and a certain Yankee major who insists on her hand in marriage, Emily defies them all as she searches for God's will in this time and place.
