About the Book

From the seedy brothels and teeming riverfronts of 18th Century New Orleans to the primitive swamplands and bayous of pre-colonized southwestern Louisiana, this is the story of three men and the growth and discovery they experience during the turbulent years in which Europeans first began the colonization and exploitation of our nation’s bayou state. It is also the story of a young Native American woman’s loss of innocence and rite of passage through the conflict of loving two men in a violent and chaotic time from America’s history.

About the Author

Ed Blanchard has spent most of his adult life as an executive in the television broadcasting business. An avid outdoorsman, U.S. Military Veteran and perennial history enthusiast, he continues to trek the South Louisiana trails of Path Of The Chief. He lives in Carencro, LA.
