About the Book

Upon her father's death, a woman named Jill requests Joshua Sloat's assistance when her stepmother challenges the will and trusts. The stepmother's large financial contributions to mayoral candidates result in her obtaining free legal representation by powerful law firms. Many obstacles hinder Joshua and Jill's attempts at finding the truth behind the lies and deception that are rampant in the case.
