Rumi: Dan, I've seen your work
Dan: Well, I chose you as an archetypal partner, and I've tried to embody Love in my writing
Rumi: Be careful about your writing
Dan: What do you mean?
Rumi: You write some very wonderful things, but you can taint them with distasteful words
Dan: My messages can be spicy
Rumi: Yes, and they can conflict with the very Love you write about
Dan: I guess I know deep down they can
Rumi: So if you're walking with me, run and dance with the swirling wind Be a pearl in the ocean sand Join your words with the holy tongues of waterfalls Let them flow like the unstoppable red hot lava from a volcano but give them with the grace of God
Dan: And don't diss G.W. and the Republican party???
Rumi: They are doing the best they can on one plane You are doing your best on another
Dan: I suppose you're right
Rumi: Rise into the clouds Mate with the raindrops Let your love rain down on every living thing
