About the Book

Love is never the same. It changes with new partners, life situations or age. It changes when personalities and actions of loved ones change. The change could be caused by alcohol, drugs, or just becoming bored or tired of each other, or no longer recognizing the personal needs of your partner. It could be simply showing a lack of affection and drawing away or becoming aloof from your lover, or not responding to sexual or non-sexual advances and overtures. No love should countenance violence or abusive behavior.

Love is Never the Same begins with Maggie and her fighter pilot husband, Danny and how they cope with the surprises that the Viet Nam War brings to them, and how it affects their love for each other and the rest of their families.

The story also shows how women in love can adjust to life's detours for the sake of their families and children.
