About the Author

Yehuda Slutski (Salu) was born in Snovsk, Russia in 1915. His father was a Hebrew teacher who provided him with knowledge of the Hebrew Language. At the age of ten, he emigrated to Palestine. He graduated from the Teachers' Seminary in Jerusalem in 1934 and received his doctorate from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
