About the Book

While riding through the woods one day, your horse steps among a nest of strange looking eggs, shattering most of them. One of the surviving eggs rolls to your feet. Do you pick it up? Take it home? And what if you did...and it hatched? What if what was inside was so incredibly different than anything else you had ever seen it would change your life forever? Something that would pull you away from your boring, ritual life, and lead you away on an epic journey through magical realms to explore whole new worlds you never knew existed. Sometimes, the key to adventure is a secret hidden so deep it takes an unknown egg, and a curious child to discover it.

About the Author

Shawn is a student who runs an animal rescue, trains and shows dogs, and writes novels on the side. She is devoted to her family, friends and 14 pets, and plans to someday become a veterinarian, breed siberian huskies, and run the iditarod.
