About the Author

Patricia A. Huston-Holm returned to her alma mater, Lakewood High School, Hebron, Ohio, to write about Holly Slack in Shattered: True Story of an American Teenager. Huston-Holm, who has bachelor and master?s degrees in journalism/communications, has been a college instructor, news reporter and public relations consultant. Her second book, Kid in the House, is about a teenager?s election to the Ohio House of Representatives.
