About the Book

What would your reaction be if assaulted at knifepoint? If you were kidnapped or were at the mercy of a lunatic for hours? If you remained alive…would you contact the authorities?

Thousands of women are attacked every year, but only an estimated 1 in 20 ever reports the incident to the police. Just 1 in 10 of those ever follows through with the process of pressing charges, and only 1 in 10 of those remaining ever sees the inside of a courtroom. This allows too many criminals to continue to freely roam the streets, able to viciously attack again & again.

This story is a completely true account of an assault & abduction, where the victim was fortunate enough to be able to walk away unharmed, and the 6 months of various events that followed.

Every woman, from young teens to the elderly should read the information contained in these pages…something in them may someday be very useful and save their lives…or help put their attacker behind thick, steel bars in prison.

About the Author

Lisa is currently a Licensed Private Investigator and non-commissioned Security Officer. She ran for City Council in her quiet, little town, but did not win the election. She continues to speak about her victimization to prisoners, Police Officer Cadets at the local colleges, Parole Officers, and students of Criminology about the incident that drastically changed her life. She is still actively involved with the Citizen's Police Academy Alumni, working closely with the Police Departments in the surrounding area, and works with victims of crime, primarily drawing Forensic Sketches of the criminals. Brian Keith Page, the man who abducted her, was given a Mandatory Release from prison in January of 2008, but before that release, Lisa had already sent out thousands of e-mail Alerts containing his information and the most recent picture, wanting Law Enforcement and women in Texas to know exactly what he looked like. This Alert was circulated throughout Texas and the United States in the event he might try to escape. A local TV channel also did a feature news story about her continuing efforts to inform the public about this very dangerous offender. She is still having to work to keep him under close watch, hoping that he will remain under Super Intensive Supervision until required year of 2035 for his crime and is still restricted to staying in Harris County, Texas. He was/is also a suspect in approximately 30 other unsolved rapes that occurred in the 1980's. In July 2008, her abductor had a warrant out for his arrest because of a parole violation, but had been quickly re-arrested. He was later returned to the Halfway House, but had another warrant issued in early 2009, again being re-arrested. He had a third warrant for parole violation and is awaiting a hearing before the Parole Board to decide his fate...whether he returns to the Halfway House near Beaumont, Texas, or he is sent back to prison. Even over 28 years after being stalked by a stranger, abducted at knifepoint, and sexually assaulted, she is having to deal with trying to not only keep track of the very violent offender, but keep others informed of his whereabouts. Lisa does not want him to have the opportunity to reoffend...having another innocent victim added to his list. Another strange happening was to be contacted by one woman who was STALKED AND ALMOST ATTACKED by the same man before he was captured...the woman was still suffering from flashbacks, although never touched by Brian Keith Page.
