About the Book
Life Through Poetry is a collection of poems about some of the ups and downs we all go through during the course of a lifetime. The author writes as though she is holding an everyday conversation with or about the subject of each poem. Topics include love, faith, family, friends, learning, and nature. Because many of the poems were inspired by personal experiences (of the author and of the author’s family, friends and acquaintances), people of all ages are sure to find something they can relate to many of their own life experiences. Whether it be the birth of a baby, the loss of a loved one, the finding of a true love, a passing thought, a bad decision or just gathering the strength to get through one more day.
