About the Book

Growing up was hard enough in his small town in upstate New York, but Trevor McClain was about to meet someone that would change his life forever. Trevor is the high school quarterback who loves his popularity and his elevated status in the community because of the winning season. All of this changes though when a new student in his class, Sebastian Reynolds, catches his eye. Sebastian is a quiet and mysterious character who quickly catches Trevor’s attention. As the mystery surrounding Sebastian is slowly revealed, Trevor is constantly weighed down by the fragile nature of their first relationship. Because of Trevor’s popularity in the community, their “coming out” proves to be more than anyone had bargained for. For the two boys, fighting for acceptance in the town turns from an adolescent power struggle to a matter of life and death. Through it all, Earth, As it is in Heaven is a story of true love that offers a very honest look at the greatest triumphs of young gay relationships and also their most tragic failures.

About the Author

Roman Genesis is a college student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando and is majoring in Political Science. A Florida resident his whole life, Roman hopes to enter politics and become a gay rights activist after graduation.
