"It is a very difficult thing for a dedicated philosophy student to commend poetry because Philosophers tends to strip life naked in search of truth. Poets, on the other hand have a different approach, they unfold truth in the most soothing way without conceiving the impact entailed.
This was remarkable when Sylvia decided to read one of her poems in my presence. It was essentially intriguing how engaging her poetic illustration of the empirical aspects of modern life connects and her uncanny understanding of the natural and global world. My name is Sylvia B Osemwota. I was born on the Caribbean island of Barbados. I am married with four children. I have lived in the USA and Nigeria for many years. At present I reside in New Jersey.
