About the Author

I am a native of New Orleans. I attended Howard #1 grammar school for two years, graduated Sacred Heart Grammar School, played sports and excelled in track. Graduated Warren Easton High School and did some amateur boxing. I was born and raised in the 4th Ward of New Orleans , but hung out and bummed in the 3rd Ward from 11 years old to 18 years old. I did live most of the sights and sounds of New Orleans ?in the 50's? as most natives did then.
