About the Book

Sean Spiderkis is a 16 year old kid in the Woodhaven section of Queens. He's from a good family and has several friends that are closer to him than most brothers are. As his country gets set for the Gulf War, and his neighborhood descends into a series of small scale race wars, he strives for a place in his clan of friends and a woman in his life. The hard part is to not get killed, arrested or led astray by his friends.

About the Author

Frank Paul Venis was born in the Woodhaven section of Queens in 1973. He is a 1991 graduate of St. Francis Prep High School, a 1995 graduate of the University of Delaware and currently serves as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.
