About the Book
Sam Mitchell, a quiet, shy, fourth year medical student, meets and falls in love with Jennifer, a laboratory technician at the local hospital and his instructor in school. His friends and buddy, Jeff, play practical jokes on the two of them that sends her fleeing to a brother in Texas to recover. She is confused and bewildered.
Sam traces her. He and his best friend, Jeff, chose to do their residency in a Texas hospital. Sam signs up for a government pay back to finance his schooling and is assigned to the outbacks of New Mexico and Texas. He finds her and her bewilderment ends.
Sam encounters an injured agent who is tired of his secretive life and passes on a new responsibility that Sam accepts. That is the life of an a specialized agent for his country. He also has to provide for an unexpected family and protect their identity.
About the Author
Born in Lockport, New York. I am the daughter of farm parents. I was raised on farms in Niagara County, but yearned for an education and travel. I graduated from the University of Buffalo majoring in Medical Technology.
Becoming skilled in various specialties at Buffalo General Hospital, Lockport Hospital, I accepted the offer of supervisor of the now defunct Niagara County Health Laboratory.
I met my husband in college where he was majoring in pharmacology. We reared four children, three boys and a girl. While the children grew, we traveled forty-two of the fifty states, Canada, Europe, and the Bahamas.
My goal, besides traveling, is to become well-known as a romance and adventure novelist. I have had success being published in short stories and poetry by Bristol Banners Books, The Library of Poetry and local newspapers. When not working on literary endeavors, I enjoy porcelain doll making, dabbling in genealogy, paranormal phenomena, knitting and crocheting and taught Sunday School for many years My husband and I have been to Egypt, England, France, Italy and recently returned from New Zealand and Australia. We are already planning our next travels.
