Reaching as far back into the origin of the Cimbrians and Teutanians, early Celtic peoples known as Germanic Tribes coming down from the Alps, where Switzerland is now located, to their arrival in Germany then on to the shores of the American colonies, sets a framework for the detailed history of the Germanic people who’s blood still runs in many American veins.

About the Author

Born in 1960 and raised in rural Indiana, Jodie K. (Stine) Scales grew up on horseback or playing out in the woods of her grandparent’s farm never having given her ancestry much thought. Today she had compiled general history and specific family histories for more than 6700 people. An avid traveler, Scales has researched on location much of her work.
