About the Book

Even at birth he needed help. As the years flew by I wondered if this had been an omen of what was to come. At five he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, at that time with death probably by the time he reached his teens. A terrifying concept. Words repeated often to my other children "Something good comes from everything no matter how bad things may seem at the time." would become so true in the years ahead.

About the Author

A mother, and grandmother. Graduated from with two degrees in teaching in 1990. Have worked with mentally challenged adults for the past two and a half years teaching them computers, crafts and exercising. I have incorporated line dancing in with their exercise programs besides teaching "normal" adults line dancing a couple nights a week.
