About the Book
In 1953, it is unthinkable for a white college fraternity to accept a Negro student to pledge for membership into its ranks. However, Chi Beta Omega Fraternity, an elite organization of Pittman College is coerced by one of its wealthiest graduate members to accept a Negro of high scholastic ability. Leo Mason, a Freshman applies for membership and is accepted to pledge. He experiences racism, a broken romance, and most of all a pledge period filled with hazing and horrendous brutality.
About the Author
Steverson R. Lee began writing, “The Eternal Sphinxman” during the Fall of 1988 in Pomona, California. An avid crossword puzzle solver, violinist, and Freemason, this is Steverson's first published novel.
