About the Book

Vivacious New Yorker Jerena Cohen visits the cow town of Bullhead, Texas to research a magazine article. She meets handsome and sexy Bo Miles, who has just inherited a small cattle ranch, and the two are mutually attracted. However, Jerena must return to the big city where she soon finds herself out of a job. At this propitious moment, Bo Miles shows up; they have a quick affair and he begs her to marry him.

In her dilemma, Jerena says, ‘yes,’ only to step from cosmopolitan city life into the bizarre world of cattle raising. It is not the exciting adventure she expected. Bo reveals a stubborn streak at her pursuit of a writing career while struggling to become a rancher’s wife. After enduring a vicious snow storm, a killer tornado, a deadly prairie fire and personal tragedy, Jerena matures to find that true love is the paramount thing in her life.
