Up in Smoke is an ominous tale of a botched backroom abortion, and arson, and murder, in one of the society families of a small, Delaware River town, told by a high-spirited boy who grows up next door, as friend and confidant of the famous Bishop sisters, and becomes involved to the point where he himself becomes the target of deadly, twisted vengeance.

About the Author

Tom Deecy is the pen name of a New York physician. He lives with his family in New York City and has, to date, produced three novels and numerous short stories. In addition to writing fiction, his interests are sailing,and jazz. He plays clarinet, guitar, and alto saxophone. His wife is a retired United Nations delegate. While it¹s encouraging for a struggling writer to sell books to his family and friends, he would like the stories he writes to stand on their own merits. Hence the pen name.
