Tales from the Otherworld is a collection of Science Fiction short stories: "The Den", set in Los Angeles, is about a girl's last night as a carefree teenager. “Astrorok, set in a remote village in the Yucatan, three Mayan Indian brothers create a phony Mayan Ruin site and subsequently make a strange and unexpected “discovery”. Everyone who comes in contact with this discovery comes away with a different interpretation. "Lundi Gras", set in New Orleans, was inspired by the old Celtic folk tale about Jimmy Whelan, whose spirit is resurrected every year through the power of his lover. "Transformation", set in Los Angeles, takes its roots from the ancient myths and legends of Ireland, and is told through the eyes of someone observing humanity and trying to understand it. "Dominion" is a tale about New Orleans, a city of magic and mystery, a place which unveils the secrets of the soul. In "Masks", when a woman visits Los Angeles on a business trip, her preconceived notions of Hollywood take on new meaning. "The Voice", set in Los Angeles and "The Battle", set in New Orleans, both explore addiction and obsession when a battle of wills takes place. "Seawinds and Sweet grass", set in Miami, is a modern twist on the ancient Greek mythological concept of gods manipulating human destiny; substituting the Hindu Gods, Shiva and Shakti as the gods who rule the game of Love. "A Valentine's Prayer", set in Los Angeles, is about discovering love and hope through an unexpected source. "Brainwave Painting" is set in a futuristic world where a VR junkie goes on a journey and creative visualization takes on new meaning. "Soul Music" is dedicated to all those who hear the music of a different drummer. "Descent into Madness", set in New Orleans, is a tale about a train ride and an unexpected detour.
