About the Book

This book is for those who have doubts about some of the traditional teachings and rules of organized religion It is for those who believe God gives each of us the freedom to be different, and yet loves each of us equally and unconditionally, no matter what we believe, do, or say.

It is a Christian layman's effort to use reason to dispel some of the ancient myths and superstitions that are often "sold" as rules for religion and worship.

The purpose of this book is not to judge or condemn, but to point out that many religious beliefs and rituals are outdated and have lost their meaning for many.

Today's world is very different from that of any other age in history, and our concepts of God must change if we are to grow spiritually.

About the Author

The author recently retired from a long career of managing Engineering, Research, and Transportation for a leading textile manufacturer. Since his retirement, he has continued his lifelong avocation of studying and writing about theology.

His experience in management and religion makes him well qualified to write on practical religion.
