About the Book

This is the true story of a family tragedy which has carried on for three generations, including my father'show -any generations before his time is unknown. My father was orphaned at age 3. Consequently, when he married my mother he had known way of knowing he was carrying the nucleus of horror!

About the Author

September Black (Dorothy Anderson Murr) born, raised, attended school in Vinita, Oklahoma. Moved to California in 1947; lived in Redondo Beach and Sacramento areas intil 1985. At age 8, she discovered public libraries and began reading like tomorrow all the libraries will burn. She says of herself, "I have not yet been published, but I have been writing for as long as I can remember. It is said of a pilot who has no academic training that he 'flies by the seat of his pants?' Well, I write by mine.
