This is a book of poems that deals with all aspects of love; the fear of love, the longing for love, the need to be loved, the intense loneliness that accompanies the loss of the beloved. And, most importantly, the spiritual significance of love. For only if our souls can grow the wings of love can we fly up to those vertiginous heights, where truth and beauty can be fully known.

About the Author

Ron Dondiego began writing poetry at age twelve. He was deeply inspired by the Sufi love poem tradition, and his favorite poet is Walt Whitman.
