About the Book
A man stands alone in the fog, not knowing exactly how he got to be where he was and not having any idea which direction to go. He just woke up and found himself next to a naked stranger after a drunken fling. He doesn't know how he could have done such a thing, and he does not know how to go home and face his high-school sweetheart, the woman who had become his wife five years earlier. Instead of facing his problems, he does what he usually does; he runs. He hitchhikes to Las Vegas, takes on a new identity, and pursues the life of the sinner he believes he is. Three years later he is once again trying to figure out how he got where he is and whether or not he should go back to where he came from.
