About the Author

Princess Fumi Ogun (Ph.D.) is the Founder of evespromise, an online magazine for Women Daring to Dream, President of Miracle Angel Organization, a teaching ministry for women and the author of inspirational self-help books such as Stepping Out¡­fulfilling Your Destiny and Starting Right Now!

Born into the Adumori Nigerian Royal Family, Princess Fumi Ogun emigrated to the United States of America at the age of twenty. She graduated from New York Institute with a master's degree in Communications Arts and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Strategic Communications. In addition to a local talk show: Stepping Out with Dr.Fumi, which she produces and hosts in the New York area, she has coordinated many programs for women and children with several social service agencies in the New York and New Jersey area, where she currently resides. These programs range from foster care, adoption, second chance homes for pregnant teenagers to crisis intervention programs for battered women. She continues to teach, inspire and empower women across the country on fulfilling their dreams. She delights herself in helping women reach their greatest potential. Her popular seminars: "MAD about LIFE", "DARE to DREAM", "BREAKIN' OUT!" and "DON'T WASTE YOUR PAIN!" are received with enthusiasm by various women organizations across the country. In her very own words: " I feel privileged to have been used as a vessel to touch lives, particularly women and children. While working as a Program Coordinator for battered women's shelter in New Jersey, I met several ladies who seemed lost, confused, disappointed and filled with shame and disgrace. The majority of them looked and felt like walking corpses, just waiting to be tipped over. They desperately needed something or someone to believe in. And as God would have me do, I began to share my experiences with them. Amazingly, He in His infinite wisdom touched these women's lives. I began to see incredible changes in their attitude towards life. With this intervention, some of them even began to stand up for LIFE, just like I did several years ago. For years, I lived in other people's world except mine! I became who everyone and anyone wanted me to be. As a result, I lost myself and became very suicidal. With this experience, I was able to identify with these women, irrespective of their social or cultural backgrounds. Abuse is the same across board. My encounter with these wonderful women encouraged me to finish this book: Stepping Out¡­Fulfilling Your Destiny as well as inspired me to write this 31 days journey to spiritual growth and other yet to be published books."
