About the Author
Phil Kelly is President and CEO of Kelly International Development Corporation, an International Business development Corporation operating in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States. Mr. Kelly is also the founder of Good Luck Gamblers, LLC, a Global Community for Gamblers. Mr. Kelly previously served as Chairman and CEO of Vsource Inc. (VSCE) which provides customized global business process outsourcing (BPO) to clients worldwide. Vsource is ranked on the Global Services 100 list. Mr. Kelly joined Vsource from NetCel360, where he served as Chairman and CEO. Mr. Kelly founded NetCel360, an Asia-Pacific focused BPO provider, which became Vsource through a reverse merger in 2001. Prior to NetCel360, Mr. Kelly served as President of Dell Computer Corporation Asia-Pacific, where he established a comprehensive distribution network, serving customers in 49 countries. He was responsible for building Dell’s entire Asia-Pacific operations, including the establishment of Dell’s first Asia Pacific Customer Center (APCC) in Penang, Malaysia, a center that manufactures the entire line of Dell computer systems. He later established Dell's second Asia-Pacific manufacturing facility based in Xiamen, China. Under Mr. Kelly's direction, Dell Asia-Pacific became the fastest-growing region in the entire organization. His Asia-Pacific team of 1,400 members contributed more than US$1 billion of Dell's overall annual revenue. Prior to joining Dell, Mr. Kelly served as Vice President and General Manager of Motorola, Inc. Land Mobile Products Sector, North Asia Division. Based in Hong Kong, he oversaw the operations, planning, distribution, and product planning for an area that included China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and the Philippines. Mr. Kelly also created Motorola's first telephone/direct mail sales operation for the U.S. market. A recognized industry leader in high technology and e-commerce in the Asia-Pacific region, Kelly has been quoted extensively in Business Week, Fortune, Far Eastern Economic Review, and the Asian Wall Street Journal, as well as other various top-tier global publications. He has also appeared on CNBC, as well as on a number of Asian television networks. In addition, Mr. Kelly is the author of Asia360, a guide on corporate expansion for enterprise organizations seeking to expand its business presence in Asia-Pacific. Mr. Kelly graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in Business Administration and is a licensed General Contractor and Real Estate Broker.
