About the Book
Lady Politician is a pulsating and provocative political novel which not only brings into sharp focus the problems threatening the very existence of America today, but presents the solutions possible. It is a book that makes the reader think, probing his deepest feelings, to show how each and every American is a part of, and responsible for, the maelstrom of strife and dissatisfaction that is whirling our country ever deeper toward ultimate destruction. But although this is a shatteringly candid picture of the American scene today, it is at the same time an optimistic one. And the basic message of this exciting novel—that through the efforts of dedicated and courageous individuals such as the magnificent Colonel and clear-thinking Shirley and their followers—is one that leaves the reader with a renewal of hope in both his country and its people.
