About the Book

Personal tragedy and deep psychological trauma draw young Anna Stamm, a medical student in Switzerland, back to her native home in wartime Germany with the mission of contacting members of the fledgling student resistance to warn them that they have been infiltrated by an informer. In the process, she meets the firebrand Willi Schmidt, falls in love with the urbane Kurt Staffel, one of Munich University's most esteemed professors and rising star, and falls directly in the path of wolf.

About the Author

Nelson Lee Novick, M.D. is an associate clinical professor of dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY, an OPD Clinic Chief within the Department of Dermatology, and has a private practice devoted to cosmetic skin surgery on Manhattan's Upper East Side. He is the author of more than a hundred by-line articles and over a dozen books and audiotapes on skin care. Dr. Novick and his wife, Meryl, are the proud parents of six boys.
