About the Author

Michael Schwarzchild, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Brookfield, Connecticut. He has worked in a wide variety of mental health settings, and has also taught undergraduate classes in psychology. Dr. Schwarzchild now provides individual, couples, and family psychotherapy while working with children, adolescents, and adults. He is currently President of the Connecticut Psychological Association.
