About the Author
Matthew S. Zimmerman, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist practicing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He specializes in eating issues and body image concerns, stress management, relationship issues, and grief and loss. He is currently President-elect of the Broward County Psychological Association, and an adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University?s Center for Psychological Studies. Dr. Zimmerman is also involved in classical music as part of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus. Donna Volpe Strouse, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist whose specialties include depression, relationship issues, women?s issues, personality testing and assessing learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder. She currently works in Information Services at Wellesley College. She resides in Ashland, Massachusetts with her husband Jim, their newborn son Evan, and their dog Yoshi. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, snow-shoeing, and most of all, spending time with her family.
