About the Book
Tired of rejection slips, Jeanne Nelson does some research and decides to write the kind of books that fly off the shelves of bookstores. She neglects her family as she spins out romances under an assumed name and, using a different pseudonym, pens a steamy saga of sex, wealth and power that causes a stampede to the bookstores. Only when she looks up from her typewriter does she realize what she has accomplished and she comes to terms with her children and their problems and with a stiff-necked husband who resents her success.
