In this section, I combine humorous incidences that have happened to me, officers around me, as well as, police reports filed by citizens in Indianapolis.

Section 2: Humor and the police officers family

A police officer’s family members are exposed to the every day pressures that confront the officer. In this section, I describe some of the creative ways my family has found to get and keep my attention.

Section 3: Humor on the road

As a national lecturer and author of law enforcement textbooks, I have been forced to travel extensively. Being very analytical, I seem to notice things that most others fail to see. This section consists of my observations and the situations that I have endured when dealing with air travel and hotel living.

About the Author

Kevin Kinnee is a 20-year veteran of law enforcement with the Indianapolis Police Department. He has lectured criminal investigators throughout the United States for the last 11 years with the department.
