About the Book

The hero, Jay Warner, competes with his best friend for top grades and admission to the best colleges. But their friendly competition turns ugly when they battle for the same girl. Jay learns about trade-offs and hard choices, as he struggles to determine his values and decide what is really important.

Poignant throughout and laugh-out-loud funny at times, this memoir is a delightful nostalgia trip for boomers who went to school in the 70's.
