Jerome Doolittle is a former Washington Post editor and columnist, U.S. Embassy spokesman in Laos, war correspondent in Southeast Asia, Chief of Public Affairs for the Federal Aviation Authority, speechwriter for President Carter, and Harvard faculty member.
