About the Book

A woman, Martie Clink, comes to a crossroads of life that exists solely within the realm of her psyche, but whose consequences are very much real. Her life toggles between figments of terrifying imagination and fragments of bleak reality. It becomes apparent that Martie must make a decision. To go one way, she betrays reality and leaves behind her family. To go the other, she must find a strength within that is greater than any of which she has ever considered herself capable.

About the Author

Jeff Cook is a first year medical student at the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana. He intends to pursue a career in general surgery. Zac Cook is a junior studying English at Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois. He intends to attend law school at Northern Illinois University and become an attorney.
