About the Book
Andrew Karabinos made his first “big” investment in 1954, when he bought $100 worth of American Motors stock that grew to more than $1,000. Since then, he’s had his ups and downs in the market, and when he lost virtually everything, he took a step back to figure out what went wrong. He realized he’d violated the investing principles he’d learned from his father, and not wanting his own children and others to make the same mistakes, he rebuilt his portfolio and then wrote a book that would help others make smart investing decisions. In the 11 Elements of Prudent Investing, you’ll learn how to evaluate stocks, determine your appetite for risk, and define how a stock fits into your investment strategy at any given time. Whether it’s common sense, quality of information, technical analysis, market forces or one of the other prudent elements, you’ll learn how to preserve and grow wealth with this guidebook.
