About the Book

This book records the history and pioneering accomplishments of national and international credit union leaders i the credit union development program in Ecuador, South America. It also describes the involvement and contributions of the United States agencies of USAID and Peace Corps.

This book describes the principal steps taken to develop this successful credit union program, which can serve as a guide to those involved in this type of development.

About the Author

Henry Cruz was involved for more than twenty years in credit union development projects and programs with the Credit Union National Association and the World Council of Credit Unions. He currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife Josephine.
