About the Author
Dr. Randy Frid is the Founding Director of the Canadian Institute of Knowledge Management Research and has participated in the design of global knowledge management systems for organizations like AT&T, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deloitte Touché and various government entities. He has a long and distinguished career solving real-world knowledge management problems for major organizations.
Dr. Frid has held prestigious positions as Principal Scientist for a Microsoft subsidiary (specializing in Enterprise Portal Architectures), and as CIO of the multi-billion dollar NRS Block Brothers Real Estate Company (that also owned Century 21 and Red Carpet chains), and as President of its sister company Prophase Systems. He continues to sit on the board of several organizations in an advisory capacity.
Dr. Frid previously authored Infrastructure for Knowledge Management ISBN 0595090532 and is the inventor of the Decision-Matrix, a software-based probability and risk management system.
