About the Author

After an early experience with discrimination, recounted here in A Rejection, Hank Perveslin devoted his life to helping others avoid similar fates through service in New York City and State governments and U.S. Department of Education. Perveslin holds degrees from Brooklyn College and Columbia University. He currently lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.
